Going the Distance

Distance relationship..... Is it easy ?? Can it last ??

Just watch the movie 'Going the Distance' recently, it cute to see them traveling to and fro to meet each other and how they appreciate the time together so much. When you only get to see your partner like 3 month once, I'm sure you'd like the moment to last as long as possible. But then, after some time, it proves that distance does play its role in a relationship. Eventually, they got tired of having a partner whom you cant be with all the time. For most couples, that's actually quite true. How many couple can actually withstand the challenge of time and distance ????

However, in the end, somehow the guy landed a job nearby the the girl's place. So they were able to rekindle their relation...

But honestly, how many couple which broke up can actually have this happy ending ??

Ive read a few tips on how to maintain distance relationship. Here's a few :
1. be honest with each other. for whatever that each party feels, he/she should share it with the other
2. trust and believe. being apart, one tends to think that the other partner may betray him/her. hence, trust that the partner will always e faithful to you.
3. Whenever you get the chance to meet up, appreciate the time, enjoy each others' company and try your best not to argue.
4. take a lot a lot of pictures so that you have something to remind the presence of the other partner in your life.
5. shower each other with memorable gifts ( I LIKE THIS ^^)..

I find the tips quite good and true. hopefully I can make use of these tips~~~

Eighteen

hmm... Its been quite awhile since last post ( hehe)

These long period makes me think.. think a lot of stuff..
At the age of 18, suddenly have this shock of don't know what to do. Coz u're suddeny out of school after 13 years ( + 2 yrs kindergarden) n u need to decide on what to do..
Most of us, by 18 will probably leave home to further studies some where n some may still have the chance to remain at home ( lucky them ). But I realise that once u leave home, chances are you wont have much time at home anymore after that..

Like for me, after matrix, it'll b Uni which most probably I'll be stayin out too. After 4 years, its time to work. If you're lucky you may land a job nearby that you can stay at home, but if not? sayonara to your lovely home. Even if u stay at home, your long workin hour may not allow to stay long at home. Your comfy room may just be like another hotel where u sleep at night and the next day you will need to leave in the morning.

Few years later, you can hear the sound of marriage bell n for ladies, of coz u don stay at home anymore. You'd probably move to somewhere far if your spouse come from another state or somethin.

So, you see.. After 18, there's not much of time left for us to stay at home with our parents. This is when i realise that the time with our family is really wonderful and we should really treasure it. Spend as much time as you can with your love ones. When you're out n away, you'll realise that there's really no place like home. No food is better than your mom very own cooking.... T.T

Eighteen... freedom may be sweet, but sometimes you just wish to have someone to have someone to wake you up, cooks you food and just be around there....
