Awak Cina Ka ??

YES !!!! I'm a totally pure chinese. I've got that questions many times already. So my answer is, yes.. I AM a chinese..

No, this is not something racist, nor is my face resembling a malay. Hopefully I'm nnot too dark for the reason they mistaken me as malay. But actually most of the time this question comes by when they heard me speaking malay.

The thing is, in secondary school I'm the only chinese in class, n all my good friends are malay. So, in the 5 years time, Ive been 'personally trained' to speak malay. I must admit, they're pretty good teachers >,<.

Many people do say that i speak malay, like a malay n not having the chinese 'slang' while speaking. Shocking to some of them, I actually know some 'special words' that we don learn in textbooks. I actually like being able to speak malay so fluently, coz it puts away the language barrier when i'm mixing with malays.

Believe it or not, when I once called my friend, her mom mistaken me as a malay due to my slang. And many times, many people took me as malay after listening to me speaking >,<

The problem is, i actually find it weird when i hear other chinese speakin malay in a 'pelat' way. And one weird thing about me speaking malay is, the slang only comes out when i'm speaking with malay my age. If i were speaking with someone older or other races ; indian, my slang would suddenly disappear and i would speak in a 'chinese way'.

Anyway, having this 'skill' is actually very fun, its like picking up a new language. And chinese out there, why don give it a try and learn, its nice to be able to speak malay fluently without the mah, lah n etc...

Just one thing i woud like to state is, although i may speak malay like a malay, I'M A PURE CHINESE !!

New Year !! ( chinese punya)

So sad to see back my last post is on new year and now is CNY le.haha Maybe my next post would be on hari raya or deepavali ?? hehe...

Anyway, for this CNY i only got 4 days break, ( wed- sun) i guess probably everyone is having the same period of holiday, it may be almost a week, but still, its not a complete week ! Wat's more is that this holiday is the last long holiday for matriculation, before it ends. Its actually happy and sad when talk bout it, happy cause matrics s coming to an end ! but then, still 2 more months to go.. haiz~~~

Aiya, don wan let that spoil my CNY mood. hehe.. For this CNY should be very happy de. Coz got lots of ang pow ! ( main point of CNY), but not exactly that much also la. hehe.. and of coz, new clothes. Guess what, i actually did not have the time to wear all of them ! Is not i bought too many, its just......... erm.. holiday too short, not enough time for me to display all ! haha...

I bought 1 dinner dress that cost only 25 bucks ! consider cheap wey.. wait ah, show u the picc... ( searching... searchin....) alamak, delete ady ! paiseh, no picture.. hehe...

But whats best of CNY is getting to spend time with family oh. Its not everyday that i'll be able to gather with all my relatives, cousin n etc.... Not forgettin, i also did manage to spend some time with him la. But just that mere 2 hours.. haiz~~~ But better than nothing lo...

Supposely goin back tommorow, but then got family reunion, so...... monday only goin back, ponteng one day.. hoho~~~~~

New Year ??

Opps... Once again, I am only updating my blog like, 3 weeks once ?? hehe...
anywyay, 2011 is coming le ! yeah yeah, happy happy joy joy..

But oh, dono whether i'm curse or jinx, every year ( ok not every year, just last year and this year ) on the new year eve, somethin BAD always happen. Last year, on new year's eve, I had my first car accident, and it wasn't even my fault !! And on new year day, my beloved dog itself involved in a car accident and left me forever.. T.T

For this year, on new year's eve, my external harddrive got infected by virus ! ALl my movies, dramas and especially all my pictures, i mean ALL is in there and I cant on it at all ! stupid virus.... Today is new year eve, so i dono wat will happen on new year day, bt I'm gonna pray a lot a lot to avoid any bad things from happening (I hope)
Oh ya, 1 more bad thing, I'm supposed to be at home now, going out with my friends, celebrating new year eve, but unfortunately, no more bus ticket !! pathetic right ?? haiz~~~

Thinking back, this year had been a wonderful and yet dull year.. The best part of 2010, obviously is AJL !! Cant believe its already almost a year since i went there. Wish that i could relive the moment... >,<..Oh not forgetting, meetin all the wonderful friends and special someone *ahem*...

The dull part ?? Matrik of coz~~ Don't see wat's so 'interesting' bout it though.....

There's many more thing i wish to write, but... homework is calling for me.. ( sad right , doing homework on New Year's Eve ??).. One more thing, this time, new year don feel like new year at all, no holidays, no frens, no shopping, no green box-ing.. no nothing,homework got la... haiz~~~

sick...

Since I always don have time to post what i wanna post, i'm gonna post as many as i can each time i online ^^...

Haiz~~ last few days I was sick, sick sick...T.T.. It started with a sore throat which got worse and worse til it bcom fever +cough + flu + sore throat +headache.. haiz~~ never underestimate the power of a sore throat ah...

The fever got so bad that on thursday i skip almost all the classes. The headache was too hard to cope with that I allow it to take over me and i slept almost the entire day ! To add on, the cough medicine is 1 of the worst medicine i ever had. It doesn cure my cough and yet it make me super tired and drowsy. 10 minutes after consuming, i'll be like a restless zombie, unable to move my limbs.Only can lay there, waiting to fall asleep...

And again, its time like this that makes me think of home again. At home, if i ever got sick, my parents will give me all kind of supplements and medicine, guarantee to cure asap. What's more is from time to time, my parents would come and check up on me, see if my fever is residing or not... Then each time i wake up, there's sure to be porridge waiting for me. The warm tasty porridge.. T.T

One more privilege at home is the warm shower. Seriously, never underestimate the wonder of a warm shower at home !. At here, if i wanna take a warm shower, first i need to boil water, then mix it with some cold water. Sometimes its too hot, sometimes its too cold. haiz~~~ then need to bath using a scoop lo, like the old old days.... haiz~~

Achooo~~~ haiz~~ flu some more.. need to sleep again....

sad story...

Recently a friend here in KMM passed away. Its very sad that it happened so sudden and she's just 19 years old !

It happened last Tuesday. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but from what i heard was that the girl was sicked and intended to go to the clinic at 9am. Before going, she wanted to take a bath. Unfortunately something happened in the toilet and no one knows exactly what happened. Some say she fainted and knocked her head, some say gastric, appendix burst an many other stories. But 1 thing i'm sure is that she was left unattended up till 1pm because everyone was having class and the entire block was empty.

At 1pm, her roommates suspected something amiss and went to search for her.They found her in the toilet with the water still running. Sadly, it was too late. She was already dead by that time.....

It is indeed a tragic. She was a good student and she was my leader for a society.

Although I'm not exactly close with her, but still i know her as a friend and it was very shocking to get a news that your friend with passed away with no reasons ! On that day, the entire college was gloomy with the news of her death being spread.

For me, I felt some kind of a lose. I've lose a friend in a blink of an eye. It was just 2 weeks ago that i had a meeting with her. The day before her death, she was still fine and jolly! No one expected this would come....

It came to me that we must really appreciate life. You'll never know when your life will come to an end. From this, I've learned that I must really make life to the fullest, love the people around you and never regret whatever you do.. Life is really short. She was just merely 19, no even 2 decades and yet.....

rainy days..

I realised that the gap between my post are really big, ( hehe).. So from this post on, I’ll try my best to update my blog at least once a week ( if the broadband allows, of coz).
Its been raining everyday here and being in the jungle means heavier rain and colder temperature. It is nice to be in a cool cool weather. But problem is during the night it can be really cold that I’ve to wear jacket and long pants, even with just fan alone! If I were to at something hot, I can actually see hot steams coming out from my mouth. To sleep in cold weather is one of the best things to do in life >,<. Its like having natural air cond which blow slowly, like a soft lullaby to sleep.
However, here’s where the problem comes in. As classes start at 8am, I need to be up by 7am. Its still very cool at that time and very cozy to sleep. Every morning I will at least snoozed my alarm 3 times then continues to sleep. Having a warm blanket and sleeping in a cold morning is one best thing in life ^^..
Oh ya, did I mentioned there’s no hot water here ? Actually I think any hostel will not have hot water to bath (“,). So, imagine taking bath when the temperature is lower than usual. It spells… C.O.L.D !! Once while taking bath, my teeth were literally chattering and my body was shivering. I wanted to shout, but ( shy la, hehe). Then I told myself, its just body reaction to increase body temperature ( biology application) and guess what, after some time of shivering, actually I do feel better and was actually enjoying the cold bath! But after my bath, it was even colder with the wind blowing up to my spine. I directly duck for my bed and eventually dozed off.. Too comfy.. Cant help it…
Again, things like this are what reminds of home. At home , at least there’s a water heater to serve you no matter rain or shine. No chattering, no shivering.. Then usually on cold days, mom would make nice and tasty soups to warm the body.. yum yum~~ ( even thinking of it makes me hungry)There’s also my loyal comforter, forever waiting to warm my body in the coldest temperature. If all doesn’t work, there’s always a mummy to hug to keep me warm

Free time.

Its been quite some time since my last post >< ( sorry).. But then, now is the time I finally have time to breathe n most importantly, my broadband is actually quite fast !! This only occur once in a blue moon. So, pls forgive me (",)

Anyway, these few days I was super free. Like totally nothing to do. Never felt this way before though. Here's the reason why, mattrix student is suppose to be having finals for the 1st sem now.But then, somehow the government thinks we might be too stress up or something, they decided to leave 1 more paper on Tuesday ! Its like this, we had exams the entire last week, and now we're staying stupidly to wait for tuesday to come n finish up the papers. To make things worse, the paper is Bio 1, which is MCQ questions for 1 hour ! Now tell me, who would be studying, when you had already been studyin like hell for the past 2 weeks ?! and.. its paper 1 !!

That's why I'm having 3 days ( from saturday til monday) with totally nothing important to do. No homeworks to do, coz its already the end of sem, no need to revise, coz all the papers had passed. So, I'm down with, eat + sleep + drama + online+ story books for the 3 days.

Some may say I' very lucky to have so much free time, but when you're going through it, you'll understand the torture. Like some of my friends who didn have laptops here, it's really a wonder how they spent their time. Its like sitting down there, looking around your room, and realised that you have nothing to go !! It's kinda like in prison, but maybe slightly more 'luxurious' ( I don think that words suits though)

It makes me think ( again, ><), humans are really funny.. When we're busy, we want some time out. But when we have all the time in the world, you'd actually find yourself searching for something to make yourself bz !! Ironic huh ??

Well, thats all for now. I need to go find myself something to do.. I might even consider studyin bio ( OMG !!)....
